· In order to enter a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.

· Films under 40 minutes are considered short films. Films 40 minutes or longer are considered feature films.

· We only welcome submissions through FilmFreeway's secure online judging system.

· You agree that portions of your film (including the trailer, teaser, its poster and any still images or stills that may be obtained from the submitted material) may be used for promotional purposes for the festival.

· Under no circumstances entry fees are refundable.

· Each filmmaker may submit multiple productions, and each film may be entered in multiple categories.

· Films will not be available online.

· The relationship with the Festival will be exclusively limited to the author of the film.

· Any foreign film that is not in Spanish must have Spanish subtitles otherwise it will be automatically disqualified.

· Students must present a valid student ID to receive our student discount.

· Not all submissions are selected for the official competition. Our judges are free to make their own decisions and no answers will be given on films not selected.

· The MVD Film Festival may consider any film disqualified if it deems the content to be inappropriate. If you have any questions regarding this decision, you can contact us at our e-mail address: hola@festivaldecinemvd.com.

· To participate in the official competition(s), it is necessary to pay the corresponding registration fee through FilmFreeway. Please access this platform to make the corresponding payment.

· By submitting your film, you authorize MVD Film Festival (MVD International Film Festival) to use, distribute and share the poster, trailer, synopsis and stills of the film on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and all our social networks.

· Applicants (submitters) must agree to the Terms and Conditions of the MVD Film Festival (MVD Film Festival).

1 - Amateur or low production quality videos.

2 - Extremist or propagandistic content of religious or political organizations.

3 - Films that involve political issues or promote a political agenda.

4 - Films with poor production standards, such as sound problems, lack of subtitles for films that are not in Spanish, or video resolution lower than 720p HD.

5 - The MVD Film Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these criteria. Each film will be evaluated by an outstanding group of jurors, who will select the winners after thoroughly analyzing each entry.

6 - We are committed to presenting and promoting each of the selected films to help filmmakers grow in the industry.
